I have a 65 and 77" OLED, would love to have an 83" so I can move the 77 to my bedroom and the 65 to my office…. Decisions decisions. Nice price for sure. How to hide from wife? "Honey we've had this for awhile" won't work on this one I don't think

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe only the G3 series (less 83") has MLA tech.

Are you saying QD-OLED panels are made by LG?
Or are you saying that QD-OLED panels are separate from OLED Tech?

That is not true anymore, In 2022, LGs exclusive contract with UDC expired. As of last year, Samsung released the S95B QD-OLED, made with in-house panels by Samsung. The new Sony A95K QD-OLED are also Samsung panels. The new 83" S90C uses LG panels, while smaller sizes are still the new Samsung panels.

So you're saying LG makes all of them? I don't think you're aware that even within OLED there are different technologies now. MLA OLED, WOLED, QD-OLED (gen 1 and gen 2). And then not use QD-OLED for themselves? QD-OLED was developed by Samsung and now being used by Sony because it is the superior OLED technology/panel.

Only the 77" Samsung S90C and S95C and the new Sony A95L (not sure which sizes) use QD-OLED Gen 2.

Incorrect about Sony. They use both LG and Samsung panels in their televisions, brainiac.

I was referring to QD-OLED. Sony's flagship TV has QD-OLED (which is a Samsung panel). And I was specific on which model uses QD-OLED. Didn't say Sony, or all Sony.

anyone who order these get delivery yet? Curious if these really are refurb or if buydig is clearing them out calling them refurb and they are actually new (they used to do this on amazon with "open box")

Just buy! I have a 77 c1, 77 c3 and about to pull the trigger on this one! The c1 can go to my mom, when she visits, she always mentions how beautiful the colors are on my tv.

Sometimes buy dig and others list tvs as refurbished to get around pricing restrictions as fyi

You can see it all over on amazon too from a certain dealer with folks reporting 0 hour tvs new/sealed. Waiting to see if that's the case here ...

This was just $2199.99 from buydig on eBay with the 20% off promo. Now sold out though. That was an amazing deal IMO

It was the 83" C1 refurb sold by BuyDig on ebay. They had it for $2699, but with 20% off coupon it came down to $2199.
