Just last month, I went to their website and cancelled my year-long subscription (from last year's paramount+ offer) and it was simple and hassle free. You just hit cancel like any other website.

EDIT: Ah, I see what you mean now. When you use the extension, they require you to call them. Lame.

I tried to create a new P+ account and it said I already had one under that account (oops, I forgot), so I logged into that old account and it worked fine.

You might want to search Slickdeals for "Sportsline" and see how canceling worked for others in the older threads.

I paid for mine with a virtual credit card that will have expired before then and doesn't have a limit high enough to even renew for a single month if they try. I'll click cancel before then, but I figure I'm covered even it becomes a hassle.
I guess news to me. I got in when they did the $10 for the whole year thing and I cancelled a few days before renewal on the website without any issues. Didn't figure to do the fake cancel dance though.

It depends how much control Citi gives you, does it allow you to set a fixed time when the card is valid, a max amount per transaction or time period? If you already have Citi then you can check but if not just do Privacy. Ive seen people mention it for years and I finally got an acct like a year ago

Privacy dot com lets you do all of this with ease but you do have to link the account to a bank account . I was skeptical at first but they seem legit.

For any current Paramount subscribers: I just went to cancel my trial subscription and they offered me an additional 2 months for free. It popped the offer up as soon as I clicked the "cancel subscription" button. Not sure if they offer it to everyone, but I figured I'd mention it here just in case.

I got in on the .99 for 18 months Sportline / Paramount+. I cancelled the Sportsline 2 months ago, but my Paramount+ continues to go free of charge.

After losing P+ after the previous sportsline deal, I tried to sign up for sportsline using the SUPER code for $25/year. Clearly, when signing up, the P+ Premium option disappeared after applying the coupon. But what the heck - I splurged on $25 to see...but did not get P+ for sure.

After seeing this thread, I went to http://www.paramountplus.com/SportsLine and click through to sportsline (which I've already logged in), and voila! I now have P+. I guess I'll just have to see how long P+ will be available for..

Have you tried the cancel trick to see if you can extend it?

Yeah, I just checked my bank statement and it was 53 cents. I think I made it .99 in my mind because somehow that seems more believable. 😂

I did cancel and was offered such a deal. I forgot what the offer was - sorry, was disappointed that I lost $25 and didn't care either way enough to pay attention. Now that I look at the account, it says it'll expire in 8/2024 - meaning I have only a couple weeks extra, if any. Ergo, I can not confirm whether I actually got an extension.

I used a virtual from Citi. I set it for $10, to expire in a few months.

Once they charged me the $4.99, I backed the daily limit back down to $4.99 and set it to expire in September.
