Jabra Elite 7 Pro vs. Jabra Elite 85tBy Michael Bizzaco | February 8, 2022 It's no mystery: We think the Jabra Elite 7 Pro are the superior set of Jabra earbuds. That's not to say that we don't think the Elite 85t are also exceptional. The latter still offer amazing performance and powerful noise cancellation, but these are great features and technologies that the Elite 7 Pro borrowed from and improved upon. The Elite 7 Pro fit nicely, sound awesome, and offer better battery life overall when compared to the Elite 85t. If the money was coming out of our pockets, the Elite 7 Pro are the Jabra buds we'd go home with. Winner: Jabra Elite 7 Pro |

Side note - I've got a pair of 65t refurbs from Jabra via NewEgg, probably like 5-7 years old at this point. They came like new with sealed ear tips and generic packaging. They still work great.

I believe the Actives are the exact same as the Pros, just with IP rating and a proprietary rubber coating that makes them stick in your ears. If you have other info that the Pros are using better mic technology - which may be the case, but I did not read that anywhere - please provide a link where you read that.
Otherwise, even tho this deal isn't getting much love, the price vs the reviews + 2 yr warranty seem to be hard to beat. I thought about the Sony XM4's, but am a bit more tentative about spending $100 for third party (Secondipity) refurbs. Also, after losing an expensive bud - I decided to go with the "Actives" for cycling.

A key feature the Elite 7 Pro have that the 7 Active don't is Jabra's MultiSensor Voice Technology. It makes phone and video calls clearer, which has pretty significant implications if you talk to people a lot and want to ensure everyone is heard. Jabra's heritage in hearing aid technology shows itself with the Elite 7 Pro, and MultiSensor Voice is probably the biggest discrepancy between these two pairs. If calls matter to you, the Elite 7 Pro will always do better than their Active siblings can.

Apple AirPods Pro 2 and Jabra Elite 7 Pro
Simon Cohen / Digital Trends
As it stands, the Jabra Elite 7 Pro takes home the gold for our preferred pair of wireless ANC earbuds over the AirPods Pro 2. While Apple trends close and even beats out Jabra in a couple of categories, comfort, and overall sound quality, the Jabra's sound is also amazing and highly customizable, their ANC is almost on par, and their superior battery life and a hard-to-beat price go a long way toward making the Elite 7 Pro the better option.
EDIT - hey, if you want a pair, Jabra was sold out of the refurbs at this price when I was going to buy them a few days ago (after losing one of my 85t's). They got them back in stock within a few days, and kept the price the same - so I bought a pair. So, just put them on you eBay watch list and keep your fingers crossed they don't raise the price. Also, as I'm sure you know, these refurbs are about 1/3 the price of Airpod Pro 2's.
I'll report back after I test out the call quality on these Active 7's, but how is the fit of your airpod pro's during activities... do they ever fall out? Also, if they fall out, does each earbud have a BT locator in it so that you can find the lost earbud?

I think I've been pretty lucky. Some people just can't stand IEMs. I can wear most w/o issues. I don't cycle, but I have warmed up basketball w/the AirPod Pros (v1) on, no issues. I'm not sure about the find my bud thing, I think on v2? I've never had to use it.
The 65ts are what I have and they're chunky, but no issues there either (though I use them mainly for multipoint). Now I have the Sony XM4s too for multipoint.
I have too many Still would seriously consider the Jabra 7 Pros b/c if they can be used for work & personal at the same time that's a huge plus (I'm both iOS and Android).
