Just note to potential buyers that this material isn't elastic at all, it's a fixed size but the locking mechanism holds in place well.

You must not value your time much, for the extra hassle for that little difference.
You're missing the point
One night while I was held against my will, the guard nodded off. I wait till he reached a deep slumber, at which point I saw the key sitting a few feet away. If only I could reach, is what I told myself.
That's when it hit me. I quickly removed my web belt. Then with all the might of heaven I threw the clip end a little ahead of the keys. From there I slowly reeled it in. With each creep I thought of how I couldn't wait to return home.
With the keys now at my feet I unlocked my cage and retrieved my thermal gear. The guard started to rise suddenly! He steadied a SMG at me, but my speed was supreme. I gave him a good whack to the head with the webb. He lost consciousness and I made my great escape

This went on longer than Grandpa Simpson's "tied an onion to my belt" story.
