I called all of the local Kansas City area stores that had this unit in stock, per the Lowe's website. They are all selling this at the regular $499 price.

12lb hopper? I have a feeling this will require multiple refills for a 13hr smoke
Unless you are extremely short on space, the PB Austin XL on clearance for $198 at Walmart is a much better deal
