Ouch….those reviews do not bode well for it's durability!
The Philips website on this product does not indicate that it has FALD. I think that's a mistake on the Sam's Club listing. At $350 for a 65" TV I think there's almost no way it would have FALD, and if it did, it likely wouldn't be well controlled.

Regardless, 65" TV for $350 is still a solid deal for a TV you're not going to watch super regularly. Nice find, OP!
Those reviews...no way

Is it really a good deal ? Similar 65 inch TV with similar features was sold by Target for less than $275 three years ago. Unfortunately, TV prices have been significantly jacked up in the name of chip shortage and inflation, but I don't think it's objectively a good deal for old features

Yeah, I mean for a no frills 65" TV I feel like it's a solid price, but that said, it's probably pretty likely that there will be some much better deals in the coming months.

Reviews scare me from biting on this. My 65 inch Onn died last week and I need a replacement. It does get a lot of use so I'm not too keen on this. Just going to have to keep the 40 inch Proscan upstairs until Black Friday.

The Roku TV version is $50 more at Sam's. I've had the Philips/Magnavox Roku versions since 2020 without issues. Both are made by Funai.

A few months ago the Roku 65" was running $300 at Walmart, but only with a 1 year warranty.

I used to buy Insignia TVs. But since I'm neither a fan of Android/Google nor Fire OSs I've just been purchasing Philips/Magnavox Rokus TVs.
