- The Ficus Lyrata, Fiddle-leaf Fig will need bright light year-round, but not direct sunlight. Move it a quarter turn every week or so to expose all sides to light for a natural upright growth.
- Water during the active growth period, allowing the soil to dry out slightly in between waterings. Water sparingly during the resting period. Drooping yellow leaves are a sign of overwatering. Use water soluble fertilizer; feed 3 times a year during growing season (spring-summer-fall).

I have one in my basement that I water once a month (or whenever) and gets occasional indirect dim sunlight.
It's doing great.
Fiddle leafs are so extremely frustrating to keep. In for one anyways.
Get the majestic palm for $30. I have that, the money tree, and a smaller fiddle leaf. Skip this one, it's not as nice as the others and it's much harder to keep happy.
