Wouldn't say it's the most comfortable pen to write with for long periods but the pressurized ink cartridge is awesome and the bolt action is addictive to fidget with at my desk.

Not to give anybody ideas but if you really needed defensive weapon, don't you think something like a Hydro Flask bottle would be far more effective? At the very least you can stay hydrated. And in the oft chance your in a bad situation you got something that empty weighs just around a pound and can be swung at an attacker

Ok I ordered and got it yesterday. I am not a collector but I have a lot of pens. It's got some heft to it, the bolt action deal is pretty fidget friendly. The glass breaker is whatever. Grip on the pen isn't the best, the weight is at the top and I am use to knarled grips, not this 3 sided thing. I stuck a Fischer space pen refill in this pen and it works well.

I'd pick up either a Rotring 600 or the Zebra F-701 Pen/Pencil set over this, they are similar price. Rotring have to watch for sales.

I think if you are looking for a self defense tool, this is pretty well going to leave you with the good ol saying "You are writing checks your body can't cash".

For those that are complaining about pen tip wobble - use a small amount of electrical or scotch tape around the barrel of the refill body, it will close the gap and provide a smoother experience.
