Its cooled with a giant 2D vapor chamber (as opposed to heatpipes like most laptops) and two unobstructed fans. Asus did not cut any corners here, and it puts other premium 13" laptops to shame.

But using the 3050 on battery (outside of short bursts for compute) is not very practical.
Get your facts straight before you come to downplay a deal.
This has never been below the $1000 mark for new.
The one you're talking about is the other model without the dGPU or the open-box.
Wow, a 12900h and 3050ti in a tiny 2.6lb laptop. How is that even possible. Crazy specs for such a small laptop.

1) Do you think this would completely close out at $999
or could I wait for $899?

2) Is the hard drive removable?

Thank you!

I feel this has been going for clearance and there is not really an equivalent next in line. If your heart is set on this machine I would do it at 999. If you're asking will other gaming laptops with similar performance but different features be around for 999 or less, of course.

I don't think the price tracker is accurate. I've seen open box deals dip down to that price once but you said new.

NVME SSD is easy to replace.

Anyone interested in almost new used? I am selling mine. I got it when it was on sale a while ago thinking I will play some game with my son, but didn't really have time and energy to do so.
How much do you want it for?

Yes!... See, this is the type of observation that is made by someone who actually KNOWS enough about this market to make a comment that is actually Useful! Lol
Can't even tell you how many times I've seen a great deal, 1 idiot makes an uneducated comment then multiple people actually go off of that person's BS!
(Which in the moment, is usually fine because.. well, more for us right? Lol. But in the long run, we would like to promote LESS fake tech idiots!)

Ummm.. 🤔 Maybe?
Your name looks familiar, for the sake of feeling more secure about even considering anything of this nature... Anyone here able to vouch for this person's reputation by chance?

I believe the one that comes with the Razer Core X is 3ft long.
The other 2 I tried that didn't work were 4ft and 6ft.
I tried both TB3 and TB4 cables, though I am not sure if there is actually a spec difference in those.
You have to make sure to get reputable brand cables.

The no name Amazon ones are not guaranteed to work right.

I got the 4ft one from Maxonar on Amazon. It has good reviews and some said they worked with people's eGPUs, but maybe I just got a bad cable.

Works fine for everything else at least, just not the 3090/6900 XT I tried it with. Luckily I don't really need longer than the 3ft one that works.

There are a couple of different configurations of the Z13 Flow. Does your have the i9 CPU, 16GB RAM and RTX 3050 in it too?
Actually scratch that. Mine as 16GB, 3050TI, but the Ryzen CPU. My bad.

Just to clarify for anyone that is thinking of upgrading the SSD, this uses a NVME 2230. That's the kind that's being used in Steam Decks. They're going to be more expensive than the traditional counterpart.

Oh man, so I played 5 hours of Halo Infinite, Doom Eternal, and a few other of my go-to titles. This is crazy but I love this form factor so much I kind of want to buy the 2023 Acronym model just to maximize performance.

It actually is quiet enough while gaming that I can play games with the internal speakers without my ears picking up on much fan noise.

I'm torn, the frugal side of me loves the $999 deal. But the other part of me thinks that getting the 4070/32gb version of this thing means I can play all of my Xbox Series X quality games when I'm traveling.

Btw I have zero complaints so far about this model. It plays last generation games really well on the built in screen. You can get by with a 60W PD adapter. WiFi and Bluetooth work really well even for FPS multiplayer gaming, but that's one of the things I've come to expect from the Intel AX211 WiFi chip.

I have a g15 (2021) Nvidia 3070, AMD and now 40 gb installed. Do you think this will be good enough as a replacement and tablet for the next 2 years ? or should I wait for this one to get cheaper like $900-800 ?
