I just saw this on Best Buy's daily deals too. Based on some limited research reading reviews and watching some YouTube videos, this is a pretty decent a great price. Red and black seemed to be sold out, so in for one blue one. Had some BBY rewards too, so I got it for under $200.

Yes, great deal from what I can see. I'll decide later when it's available for pickup if keeping or not. 😅

Red and black were sold out when I looked at it, but blue was still available. It's true that the early bird gets the worm.

Got two of these on Woot a while back, definitely worth the price.

I am about 10lb under the max weight and still top out at full speed.

You seem like you did your work checking this out. If you don't mind, question... Would you get this for an 8 year old boy that loves hoverboards/scooters if they seemed responsible enough to keep it on the lower speed settings? Thanks in advance.

I was cruising around Target and they had these on clearance for $180 (down from $599). I instabought and now need to think about it. I would have posted it, but it seems super YMWV as I went to two other Targets with none and Brickseek shows no inventory and only shows a 14% discount even at the store I bought this for 70% off.

I think an 8 year old can ride this thing, especially if he has experience with scooters and hoverboards. I know some hoverboards can go up to 12mph, and they're much harder to balance on. As with driving/riding any motorized or electric vehicle, driver/rider responsibility is very important. So if you don't think he'll be zooming around in Sport mode on the streets, and you don't question his ability to ride this, then I think this would make a great gift for an 8 year old boy.

This only has a 300w motor, but the YT video said it still felt strong. It does need a kick-start to get moving, so the scooter won't zip out from under you if you press the throttle, which in some ways is a good safety feature, especially for a kid.

Thanks! Will make sure he gets used to riding it responsibly at the local school before letting him loose in the street.

Lucky you. My Target had it for $299. Prices obviously differ by location. Maybe it'll drop if it stays on the shelf longer

I walked in for bread and walked out with an electric scooter for $170 and a Jetson Mojo hoverboard for $48.... And I forgot the bread. Me happy, but wife.... not so.
