I love this simple respectful safe reply.
No, all that has to be done (properly) at the meter panel.
You'd just need the battery with this. And an inverter off the battery if you want 120v.

You can use a cheap lead acid or AGM car battery at first then upgrade to lithium later if you want.

Inverter cost depends on size. 1000w is small and around $150. 2000W and higher will set you back further.

Edit: Wow I read that wrong.

Quality / cost wise Renogy is decent quality. Very popular in van life, RVs and overlanding. The next step up is Victron
