ASUS B650E-F ROG Strix Gaming WiFi
64GB DDR5-6000
&
5600X3D (which is an exclusive CPU, that for gaming performance is basically the same as the 5800x3D), Mobo, & 16GB DDR4
Bundles as well.
It's just that the best combo deals are the 7700x & 7900x, same with the 12th gen Intel bundles, hell they're such nice deals that they are basically the original MSRP for the CPU's, with free Mobo & RAM.
The 7700x bundle costs less than just this CPU deal alone.
And just in general it turned out that the 7800X3D ended up being the better option for gaming over the more expensive 7900X3D & 7950X3D variants anyway.

Basically if you are concerned with only gaming, 7800x3d is a far more sensible choice. You don't have to worry about parking half the cores (lest non-x3d cores get utilized) and it's cheaper. If you have a mix of gaming and productivity requirement, 7900x3d might be the better buy.

Way way better than the Best Buy and stuff we have here in Florida.
But yeah not quite as good as Micro Center as far as the deals go.
This is the CPU I would want for a new build right now, but TBH I am going to wait for the 5000 series GPU's as the 4000 series is just not worth it to me, and I prefer to build a whole new system all in one go rather than plan to upgrade bits and pieces over time.
It used to be worth upgrading just a CPU back in the day for encoding workloads, but now the GPU is doing all the heavy lifting and is the focal point for most builds.
If you want something that'll do gaming as well as 7800x3d, but can handle productivity as well, you can get the 7950x3d. But then that's a $700 MSRP product.
The 7800x3d is a specialized one-trick-pony chip. But it's the best at that one task. The 7900x3d is a more well-rounded chip, but for that one specialized task (gaming), it is in fact worse than 7800x3d.
