Well for what it's worth there's definitely a new system coming from Nintendo soon (probably some time next year), though they haven't officially announced anything just yet. The writing is on the wall with these past 2 Nintendo Direct presentations with the abundance of remakes/remasters or enhanced versions of old games and not really any entirely new first-party games that are arguably heavy hitters outside of perhaps Super Mario Wonder. It was the same story at the tail end of the 3DS life cycle, especially the last 18 months or so. Anyway this could be an attempt to clear out some stock.

The claim it will have better ray tracing than ps5 and Xbox series X is impressive. Can't remember the last time we had a Nintendo system equal (or more) power compared to the competition. GameCube?

Nvidia really wants to show off what they can do, which means expect DLSS and lots of AI enhanced graphics capability.

100% agree. They need to clear inventory and start the switch 2 hype in 2024.

That's not exactly what I've heard. I seriously doubt it's going to be on the level of the PS5 or Xbox Series X. Making the assumption that it has hardware dedicated to DLSS it will surely help significantly but it remains to seen just to what degree. I think some of that is a bit of a pipe dream from whatever source you may have heard it from.

Anyone have theirs ship yet? I ordered 9/23 and still nada. I contacted customer service two days ago and they said that they'd hopefully be shipped within 48 hours (so today). We shall see...

Got my shipped notification today…Exactly in the 3-5 day shipping period…as explained on their website due to upgrading warehouse system..

Finally got mine after ordering on 16th on the original post just be aware they shipped it in a much larger box with zero bubble wrap or air things to prevent it being jostled around. Was going to be a gift but have to open it now to see if it got damaged in transit.
