Some of these knipex prices are really starting to make the Doyle brand at HFT very attractive.

Don't get wrong, I'm glad I have the water pump pliers and pliers wrenches, but I'll be hard-pressed to spend $33 on needle-nose.
I have 11 pairs of Knipex pliers and love them, but these are a little steep for what they are. I own these ones and they are very nice. Slightly shorter than these but the same style and about half the price.

I'm not sure why this is getting down voted, but the needle nose pliers you posted seem really nice with a 4.8 rating and made in Japan.

Well, have you ever actually owned quality true needle nosed piers? (Not the standard pointy pliers that most americans call needle nosed...!)
If not than i understand your comment about just buying from HF.
Believe me anyone after using a pair of these they borrowed will want to own a pair or two. not mattering whether purchased from Knipes, Snapon, Mac , Facom etc...they truly are useful pliers. I have half a dozen at least in different shapes. some modified decades ago for special purposes.

I have knipex alligator pliers, cutters and a few needle nose pliers of different design. I have gone through many sets of the needle nose pliers. Seems that their metal is not as good on the pliers? They wear out fairly quickly and make it difficult to tightly hold thin objects (mainly my use is installing/removing piston pin circlips). I don't recommend the knipex needle nose pliers. I'm happy with the other tools.

141mm vs 160mm, that's not "quite a bit". I have needle nose in both lengths. They are close in size.

Yes. Engineer is sold in the US as Vampliers and, like Knipex, they are a very good brand. I don't understand the down votes either.

I picked up a few Klein needle nose pliers for $7.50 at Home Depot when they closed them out a few months ago. That was a slick deal these Knipex deals are really not deals. Knipex makes nice tools but a lot of the stuff they make I feel are not worth it. I work as an electrician I work with these tools on a daily basis. The price on a lot of Knipex tools are not worth the hype. It's a pair of needle nose pliers it's not some complex piece of machinery……
