I cancelled my membership 6 months ago and it didn't work for me, sounds like its a hit and miss for certain users not based on any time frame of how long you've cancelled the membership, I'll try my luck next time

Audible stole 16 credits I had . Getting them back 2 at a time .
This was a long time ago were credits were expiring which I did not expect as membership gave zero benefits at that time such as trade in, unlimited listening etc. I think I got two credits back via a class action lawsuit . Corporations continue to commit fraud as long as it's profitable and their employees don't go to jail .

Didn't work for me but I have a "holiday deal" 60% off first 4 months. 5.95/month for 4 months. I just came off a free trial a few weeks ago.

I got this promo and just canceled mine. I did a 2-for-1 for one of my credits and all 7 Narnia books in a bundle for the other credit.

They did offer me 3 more months for $7.95 per month, but I think there will be more promos coming up. I think they've done a $5.95-ish deal for 3-4 months the last few Black Fridays.
