great upgrade from neato which has been stuck in 2015 with no base; this doesn't have mop functionality like the newer j7/8 but it's not necessary
the vslam functionality didn't really give me problems compared to their lidar counterparts like s9
That being said I've already had to have it repaired under warranty during the first year, so I don't know that I would recommend it. They did repair it without much hassle. I also broke the dust bin and a replacement was out of stock for months. They did end up sending me a new dust bin without charging even though it wasn't covered under warranty.
I upgraded to an i7+ two years ago - worked great for a month and just fell off little by little every month. Exchanged it for the j7+ and have been extremely happy with it. As long as you take care of your device and pick up big stuff ahead of time, you should be good to go.
