Don't be so quick to dismiss. I'm a professional game developer, and I'll tell you - it's really freakin' hard to write a game to completion and ship it. It's a real achievement, and often a labor of love for the artists and engineers who pour their souls into it.
I have worked for EA, Microsoft, Rockstar, Ubisoft and a bunch more and one of the things that often puts me off making my own games is that I have to deal with entitled gamers who can be judgmental dicks.
Just have a little consideration- the game might not be a AAA behemoth and have the latest shiny shaders - but there might actually be a compelling little game in there. Give it a go before you badmouth it.
I don't have a VR headset and don't plan to get one, so why do I keep adding these free games to my account?
Because you might one day. That's the reason I have my collection of free VR games. One day I may pull the trigger on a VR headset and I want some stuff to try out that isn't your typical 'free' game.
I'm sad that Niftons Arena went free. It's a solid Lemmings style game that has some real depth if you're willing to put the time in. The AI is solid, but really against real people who know the game is where the strategy comes in. I guess it just didn't get the attention it needed to pull in dedicated players.

Wouldn't that be a good thing to bring in more players? Or is this just an indication that the game will receive no more support?
