I have been able to on Samsung / Android. It required using a third party app to enable casting but I stream redzone to TV

I don't know if all Samsung phones are the same in this regard but I use Smart View (built in on my S22 Ultra) to cast to my Roku Ultra and it works great.

The NFL+ part stopped working at the end of last season. Found out when I tried to watch in September.

You can watch games on tv a few minutes after they end.. if you don't mind knowing the game is actually over and can avoid seeing the score before you watch, you can still get a sense of joining the action.

Unfortunately they make finding the recorded videos a PITA the first time (so I ended up seeing the score to a game I wanted to watch) and then once you do find the area, the scores are still listed by default, right next to the "play" button.

I just watch the highlights on YouTube. Saves on the 2 hour + commercials per game

I'm with you on that! Unless it's a big game or something, I'm out. Over 3 hours of broadcast time on average for a NFL game. That's for 60 minutes on the game clock. The ball is only actually in play for an average of 11 minutes (that calculation was done by WSJ years ago though so it's probably changed a bit)

RedZone or highlights FTW
