I have the white version and it's kind of stupid, but mostly gets the job done.
Since purchasing it iRobot customer support went from too good to too bad.

I bought one together with a j7 last year as a combo deal, seriously regret it. The mop is just a pad that the robot drags across the floor, the weight of the robot is not enough to do any kind of serious scrubbing. Also theres no lidar so it requires light to see the environment, which is bad if you want to let it run over night when you sleep. And lastly it just errors out too frequently for my liking, every 4 or 5 times it will just fail to run for one reason or another.

I just bought the roborock deal from target, hoping for a much better experience.

It seems like Roborock is the dominant player at the moment. You pay a little more but it will do the job you want it to do with little intervention. I've heard good things about the Sonic mopping from them and I think they have an even better variant now.

Yeah I watched a bunch of videos of the S7 and was impressed that it was able to get some dried on stains off the floor. I'm absolutely certain that my m6 will not be able to do that, if it makes it there to begin with lol.

Came here to talk shit about this robot. Regret buying it. It's stupid and gets stuck often. Clean job isn't all that clean.

thanks for the reviews. I was going to get one because it works with my irobot vacuum.

I got two robots. Roborock q5 refurbished to do the vacuuming, and got a bissell r5 on mega sale from Walmart $150. Eventhough the bissell has a vacume, I would recommend buying it just as a mop. It has lidar, and two big rotating scrubber pads just like their full size electric mops do. None of this vibrating business.

ug, this was one of my worst impulse buys. its great at navigating but does a terrible job at cleaning, It leaves nothing more than smears and little tire tracks all over my great room, and repeats this obnoxious yee-haaaaaw sound from the spray pump motor. I assumed irobot had this perfected, i was wrong.

'The mop is just a pad that the robot drags across the floor' This robot is really stupid. You still need to hand wash the pad every few minutes.

I will add to the comments here. As someone who was already in the iRobot environment, I got this mop from Amazon warehouse for about the same price in "like new" condition. For the most part, I agree with everyone here that it's not a deep clean but I find it does a basic job of mopping. Figuring out the right ratio of cleaner to water was a little frusturating as the bona solution that's recommended is never in stock (on Amazon at least). I've had luck with Bissell multi surface cleaner and distilled water which leaves minimal tire marks and streaks. Is Roborock better? I'm sure it is, but I already had a roomba so I don't think the m6 is completely terrible.

I used it for 2 days and returned it. It got stuck on normal grout between tiles in my kitchen and left tire marks everywhere.

I, for one, welcome our robot overlords and would not talk bad about them in any way...past, present or future. You hear that robots? I am on your side.

I've had almost an identical experience - bought the combo and a month after the warranty ran out I started to get a lot of errors and robot gets lost or "stuck" when there's nothing around it... It became a hassle to use. Hope this helps

Yep, I want a mop with auto clean and auto dry. The mop has nothing but also expensive
