Does anyone know if you can add different cameras to reolink? I seem to like reolink nvr/app, but thinking to buy reolink and this for more cameras. Would that work?

For security cameras try not to save a few bucks .. if you do you're more likely to do what I did and end up with a box of garbage.

Take some time to decide what you want to accomplish first .. then see if you can do that within your budget .. then you will need to compromise with your need and budget.. as often we think we can get great results cheaper than what it really costs.

I really agree with this. I have done two houses now - the first one I did was BNC cameras and night vision was useless. I hated the crap NVR, it was hard to even find things when I knew the time to look. It was borderline useless. I had my car broken into, and got video of it, but the video was "some person, could be really any height, looks like he is in a black hoodie, maybe a he" quality. A truck was stolen up the block, they were like, "what time did it pass by?" I was like.. no fast fwd, so I dono... I did manage to download the video of the day and then send that to them, but honestly nothing like better systems that tag the video with movement at least.

Second house I got smart, spent more, and i love it now. I get notifications, it sees 'people' not just movement, it's great. I feel like it's useful now, not just a thing on the wall I can't use. I have reolink.

Put a little more money and buy the right one. It is easier on the stress and easier on the wallet.
