its just one of the perk, you dont use only card for everything. No other card gives offer like amex. This is $95 fee, but e.g dell offer this year itself is $120 + $50 which i saved. Streaming services are 6% as well. Insurance $15 cashback , kroger offer, internet bill, apple pay, bestbuy offer you can easily earn another $200 unlike any other card which gives minimal offers. Anyway its personal choice, i mix chase, discover cards into mix to maximize the quaterly offers

So with Resy the restaurant has to be "participating" ? The website only shows major cities, it does not list restaurants in suburban cities. I just made a reservation through Resy but have no idea if it is eligible

Thanks. I saw that however its only showing restaurants for the 19 major cities at the top that you can filter by. I am missing if and how to search for other cities.


I messed up tonight too, had a reservation through at Resy, not sure if the restaurant was eligible for the offer but purposely ordered additional food and tipped over generously to hit $75. Then I spaced out and used my US Altitude Reserve.... I was kicking myself

Something definitely is off with this specific offer. Guess I will give it a little time. Mine was delivered yesterday, charge posted 10/9 and it still does not show redeemed as of today. Meanwhile , my dell offer is still a pending charge yet already shows redeemed in my offers.

I contacted support via chat about it and they opened a ticket - hopefully they will fix it for all of us...

Actually did the same and just saw this. Hopefully they do. At first they immediately said I didn't follow the terms. And then I pushed back because they had no answer as to why. Finally opened a ticket.

My hydroflask offer also did not trigger! I started a case with Amex but will see. Otherwise will return. Amex mentioned the specific merchant code used did not match the valid ones for the offer and asked if I had purchased in store (I did not).

Did anyone successfully get the Hydroflask offer to trigger?

Its not about the trigger, if you have added kore than 150-200 offers on the card it doesnt trigger the email. But its stilll valid. In case you know the offer please note the POID number from the offer terms, they will apply it anytime after 7-14 day redemption period or later. Their support is very good. It has happened many times but i never missed the cashback.

Amex support explicitly informed me it did not trigger because the merchant code was not correct

I ordered a Dell monitor to get the $50 cash back. The charge is currently pending. I heard they won't post it until shipped. If the shipping dated after the 18th, am I screwed?
