If you have more than that, you can use it to pay estimated taxes to your local state. Each state is different, but most states charge around 2.5% so you will still net a $5 profit on each card. Even if you overpay your estimated taxes, you will get all the money back at tax time.

If you file an extension on your taxes, I have read on some sites that it is possible to get another 6 payments, but that starts getting too complicated for me.

Walmart is most economical. $1 fee (max) for up to $1000.
Alternately, try your credit unions and ask for cashiers check. No limits and no fees for some. I'm personally using this to cash out $5000+ of GCs.
Venmo may work also although rate of failure is high. Send money to friend using GC and ask them to send it back to you. Transfer funds to bank account. No fee.

7/11 is an another option. I personally use my credit union to keep the fees down to $0.
