Had one of these. The only way I was able to successfully remove/replace the canopy (had to replace one every season or so,) was to disassemble the frame enough to buckle it in, so I could install the new canopy. Water catches in pockets formed by a good rainstorm, the canopy fades quickly and grows mildew, and the frame rusts quickly. I would not recommend this gazebo.
Good deal but soft too won't hold up well in extreme weather. Might grow mildew in the winter when not below freezing, and will get UV damaged in winter
Useless, this can't be permanently kept outside. Too much hastle to assemble when needed and take it down, repack and store. Pass

The weather doesn't even have to be extreme. My light patio chairs didn't budge at all during a slew of moderate winds but the soft top slowly tore over time. Ended up ripping it off the frame and buying a heavy duty $260 canvas tarp attached with bungee cords. Infinitely stronger and better.

Can you provide a link to the tarp that you bought?

I gave up on these things. I've gone through 3 in Ohio. All destroyed by storms. Last one was even a metal roof- they just act like giant parachutes if you get any sustained winds.

Going to go for a wood gazebo instead. Let's see the wind mess with 1500lbs of cedar LMAO

It's been a few years so of course it's been hit by inflation.

Surprised about the metal roof. Did you have the gazebo footings anchored down to concrete or some sort of fixed structure underneath?

I got the 10x10 version from Walmart last year for about $244. I leave the fame in place and just take out the top every winter. I think that fabric will last another year or two. for under $200 for a larger gazebo, I think this is a decent deal. I might order one as well for a large size.

Doesn't hold up well to wind at all. I had 150lbs if sand on it and it went up and over my roof here in Michigan. At least it was entertaining to watch.
