If your talking about the men's stretch down light pullover, it's designed to pack smaller than the hoody and weighs a few ounces less.
To achieve this, it obviously only has a half zip, no chest pocket, and no drawcord adjustment at the waist.

But it does pack into it's own hand pocket whereas the hoody does not - you can stuff it into the big internal drop pocket but that doesn't have a zipper so it's not super secure (but mostly works) and it remains pretty big when stuffed into their.

Bought the stretchdown hoody years ago on this sale. Great jacket, really comfortable, good build quality, love the stretchinesss, never had any issues.

Perhaps the parka would, with some additional layering. I live in MA and use the stretch down hoodie for most of the winter. For the coldest days I have a north face parka which is similar to the one listed in the deal.

I just got the golden brown hoody about a month ago. The zipper is already giving me fits and feels a little chickenshit, I'm hoping it can last a few years. The golden brown is much lighter and less red than the photos appear; I was shocked by the difference when it arrived.
