Is the battery 2 Ah good enough for tiller? Asking because I don't have another battery for Sun joe.

I have the Sun Joe 120 volt corded tiller, and its surprisingly strong. The folding handle is not strong enough for serious tilling (only one bolt per side), so I just keep it assembled in a small upright Suncast shed. It has four of the stamped tiller blade assemblies, unlike the two on this one.

The 80v Greenworks one is the only Greenworks tool I have that is useless. It's too weak to till anything, though I guess you could use it for cultivating between rows. I doubt this one is any stronger, so treat it as an electric cultivator, not a tiller. The 80v Greenworks is too heavy for ease of cultivating between rows, but I have several types of hoe that I keep sharpened which are just as fast.

Would this be good to get rid of weeds in the backyard? I have tons of weeds and need a way to clear out the whole area. Feels like it'd be great if I can have someone run a bulldozer over it lol.

I just ordered the manual Fiskars cultivator below yesterday. Wondering if I should cancel and get the Sun Joe auto one?

In my opinion those manual things are worthless except for maybe scratcthing the dirt in recently tilled (by a real tiller) soft fluffy dirt.

I have that. It's a lot of work to do a small area even. Can't speak to this item, but I have no doubts it would be worth a few extra dollars to get the battery one over the manual.

I would recommend against using this or a rototiller. They tend to chop up worms and other beneficial insects and they also remove beneficial air pockets from the soil.

It's a little more work, but using a garden fork and turning the soil by hand is the way to go according to gardening experts.

Having cut worms up many times, I'm pretty confident they don't give two craps.

not sure why you are getting downvoted, alot of books recommend against rototilling. Supposedly bad for soil structure, and pulls up weed seeds that are deep down in the earth up to the surface where they will sprout and cause problems.

I have a corded electric tiller now, We had a gasoline powered one, which we hated to try to get running and avoided taking it out. The corded model is better, but its again, not quite as annoying, but still annoying to roll out and roll up the cable. I have a SunJoe blower, pressure washer, and snow thrower, so this is extremely tempting.

If you want to take the time and energy to do it by hand, go for it. My garden is fairly good sized, and I would not want to attempt that.

You also would cut up worms, kill insects, and remove air pockets from the soil with a hoe or other hand tiller.

Yes, do you what you want. I'm just telling you what best practices are.

Which is why I suggested using a garden fork.
