Three e-bikes you can get an extra 10% off with "GOELEC-10". Aventon is a great brand with solid bikes. Yes, they are cadence sensors but work great at this price. The Sinch 1 is also on sale but coupon doesn't seem to work on that bike.

I have this bike and it's awesome, Highly recommend it if you are looking for an entry E bike. I paid 1.8k 2 Yeats ago and still runs great, had to replace the cadence sensor ($14) part.

I don't know why e-bikes have suddenly dropped so far in price, and am sad that my bike probably won't sell for nearly as much as I bought it for, but this is an amazing deal.

Does anyone know if we can do a price match through bestbuy + the plus membership saving on ebike?

$450 would be one of the better e-bike deals ever. *fingers crossed* BB Chat said Aventon isn't an authorized price competitor.... maybe someone else though.

Waiting for the Pace 500.3 to get around $1200 for that little extra zoooomph with the torque sensors to get me up that big 45 degree hill near my home (about 150 ft). Are there any name brand sub-$1000 ebikes that are good with throttle-only on hills? This will be my first ebike but I want to stick with well-known, reliable brands so I can get them serviced locally instead of some chinese-made horror from aliexpress or something with propriety parts made out of solidified tar that has an exploding battery underneath my seat that launches me to the hereafter. Any advice is welcome.

I know nothing about e-bike but I have been wanting to get one. This once seems like a decent e-bike. Can anyone tell me the difference between pace 500.2 vs level commuter ?

Nope. Almost any bike that you could get serviced locally won't even have a throttle, and almost certainly won't be sub $1k. The only easily serviceable name brand in that price range I can think of is the REI bike that was on sale a couple of months ago, but they didn't offer a throttle

Two major factors:
- Too many e-bikes in the market. After 2020-2022 where bikes and e-bikes were largely sold out everywhere, people starting loading up on models and now the market is saturated. Too much inventory, everywhere.

- It hasn't happened yet, but soon, more and more places will require UL Listings for e-bikes. Places like New York restrict non-UL Listed e-bikes and they are banned. Because of this, the more legitimate bicycle retailers/resellers are in a hurry to dump older products that aren't UL Listed in anticipation of them being banned.

Looks good. Class 3 though. Can't be arsed with getting a license for it in my State. However, my state's ebike [massbike.org] FAQ says motors up to 750 w (which the RipRacer has) don't need a license but the RipRacer is categorized as Class 3. Confused about whether it would be street legal without a license. Does anyone know?
