FYI...
1. if you're looking for more info, or not familiar with flashlights as a whole, try searching reddit's r/flashlight subreddit: [url=https://www.reddit.com/r/flashlight]
2. If you have a little FOMO with this, but are on the fence if it's the right flashlight for your needs (i.e. do you need flood/thrower, size/weight, battery life, LED/LEP), spend some time on reddit finding the right light for your needs, and then wait until November 11th. 11/11 is like China's answer to black friday, so it's typical for a lot of flashlights to go on sale.
Regarding Wurkkos vs Sofrin. Wurkkos contracts Sofrin to make their lights [1lumen.com]
10H - Go to advanced mode
3C - current batt
2C - current temp
7H, release first flash - enter current temp
7H release on second flash - enter thermal cutoff degrees above 30 (for 65, click 35 times)
In step mode, I was able to sustain level 5 of 7 with 55 degree cutoff. I could sustain level 6 of 7 with 65 degree cutoff. External temps stayed below 60. I was able to run it for 4+ hours, though it started stepping down towards the end. Plenty of usable light, but not overly impressive in terms of sustained output. I'd put it at just a tick under my sofirin if25a in terms of sustained output. Probably longer battery life though. Its a very nice floody beam, and great tint. Its built very well, and everything feels very solid.
It's not without its drawbacks, but for the money, I dont think anything else will match it.
For anyone who needs more performance in a 21700 package, they had some good pricing on the xhp70 based TS22 lights as well. Those are boost drivers and will supposedly sustain 1100 lumens. I'm still waiting for mine to arrive.

The lower the temp the yellower it is.
It's just easier on my eyes.
