I've seen 3 of the 4 as an adult (not Paranorman) and enjoyed all of 'em quite a bit. Very artful, engaging, and yes, probably a bit dark for young children!

I have heard that you need to "gift" it to yourself. I believe there is an option to purchase as a gift. Kind of silly how there is no way to purchase a 4k version if you had already purchased the HD version of a film.

I know that method as well but it doesn't give me an option to gift the bundle.

I remember when we watched Coraline, my oldest daughter was 10 years old. The protagonist realized she was never going to see her parents again. My daughter took it too seriously and started crying so we had to stop the movie.

The bundles always show as HD on iTunes. The individual movies will show up as 4K. Apple does not allow you to buy the HD version of something when they have a movie in 4K.

Fantastic movies. I already own all of them on blu-ray and Movies Anywhere, but still tempted by this to get them in 4k, especially since the digital version of Coraline I have is only SD.

I own all 4 of these from digital copy codes all redeemed in iTunes. Two are SD only but two are HD. It's worth checking if you already have them because it's not showing that I own any of them from that link.

It seems the rights to these changed hands. My copies list Focus Features as the publisher. These new versions list Laika Studios. I guess that's why my I don't get the free 4k upgrade for Kubo or Paranorman that redeemed in HD.
