Yeah, I'm also wondering what the purpose of these is. I'm in full support of people who still want to wear masks because of immune issues or just general concern, but those people should be wearing a better mask than this. So if it's not to help control disease, then I'm not sure what it does. The gaiter I could see being for warmth, but the other one evades me.

In for some for use during long haul flights. I actually used to wear a fabric mask before Covid to help increase the humidity. It's particularly helpful when sleeping so you don't wake up with a dry and sore throat.

For anyone who might want this for whatever reason, (not here to debate effectiveness/whether masks should be used) they are on a good sale/clearance. As mentioned by someone prior, the price is definitely way lower than when the style came first arrived. However, I would not use them for any sport.

Sweat will soak in the inner layer of the mask and stick to your mouth and nostrils like a plastic bag, at least from my experience. I just use them for when I ride the bus or metro but definitely not for workouts.
