A good price, but not as good as some of the Lowe's deals earlier this spring. For instance, for $99, you get the Bosch blower (or whatever tool you want), and 2x 4Ah battery + charger. If assuming you can get the tool for $50, that means the batteries + charger is $50. I ended up doing 2 orders that time for a total of 2 tools, 2 chargers, and 4 batteries (picked up the leaf blower and the sander). This is an amazing eco-system - when using the sander with the 4.0Ah battery - you can literally sand for 30 minutes straight (which seems like Forever when sanding anything) before the battery needs charging. With a similar DeWalt set-up, that would be completely different story (in a bad way).

8ah battery is in a class of its own specially for profactor tools like the impact wrenches, drills. There is a demonstrated performance increase when using higher amp batteries in power hungry applications.

I agree with you those Lowe's deals were excellent. I picked some up then too. But I don't ever see these 8aH sized batteries go on sale so I picked up a couple. Will go great with the small shop vac and the heat gun. Those use energy up quickly

I too picked up some tools and 4ah batteries back in spring.
Question: will the 8ah battery requires different charger? or I can use the charger I got with the 4ah batteries?

There are specific designated profactor batteries/chargers but in a lot of review videos in youtube it is claimed that the "old" 8ah batteries are the same as the profactor ones. As far as I know, all 18v batteries/chargers are interchangeable and even 4ah or 2ah batteries can run the profactor tools. I think the performance boost comes from having a greater capacity and cell configuration of the 8ah and 12ah batteries. So I say it is marketing by Bosch.
