Yeah, the price of these things has jumped to being kind of stupid. I bought one of these like six or so years ago at Tuesday Morning for $15. It's fine for that price considering the limited use and very small size, but anything more than $20 seems like a huge waste. I just saw that they were going for $30-40 and couldn't imagine it ever being worth that much. I stopped using mine years ago after it fell from the top of the fridge and developed a crack in the thin plastic. I really think these are too small for most meals that I'd have for lunch. I only ever really used it for leftover soups and casseroles.

I actually recently bought this [walmart.com] one for $32 from Walmart and I'll see how it does. It seemed like it was overpriced a little, but it also seemed larger than the lunch crock in this post. I wanted something that'd hold a little more food or be good for something other than just soups. Amazon [amazon.com] also has it for the same price.
