I think these Monoprice items are better computer stands than the one in this post. They're sold as monitor stands, but they're large enough to be a computer stand. They don't have wheels or sides, but they're nice looking and will keep your PC up off the floor. You can even use them on your desktop if you're looking to regain a little bit of desk space underneath.

22" x 8.25" x 3.1", Clear $10.49 [monoprice.com]
22" x 9.5" x 3.1", Clear $10.99 [monoprice.com]
27.5" x 9.5" x 3.1", Clear $14.97 [monoprice.com]
25.6" x 11" x 3.5", Black $19.59 [monoprice.com]
25.6" x 11" x 3.5", Clear $19.99 [monoprice.com]
30.8" X 11" x 3.5", Black $19.99 [monoprice.com]

Many computer cases will fit on the 8.25" width (which is the same width as the one in the OP), most will fit on the 9.5". Only the chonkiest of cases will need the 11" width. The depth is irrelevant, 22" is deeper than virtually all cases.

I've actually never seen or heard of this before. Seems super helpful to keep it off floor while not sitting on the desk.

Looks like a bigger, less expensive version of IKEA's UPPSPEL stand.

Personally, not a fan of the side rails height as it would block the glass window for those that like to see their RGB parts.

However, for about half the price, this is a good budget pick for those that don't care about seeing inside the case.

purchased several similar, but more heavy duty stands back in '16-17 for $17, now $24.

have the full sized soho antec server cases in/on them.

had to remove the swivel feet.

depending if your case has a side fan you might have to add a spacer

Sounds like that stand should be called

Fits Most ATX Towers
With ADJUSTABLE Width, It can fit computer towers / pcs / CPUs with a width of 4.7" – 8.2"

will not fit most server cases as they are over 8"

If for home use, how many people have the real requirement to move the tower around?

Who in the world would want the tower to slide around?
For office use, there certainly would be. Not every day (which is why there are locks on the wheels), but people do get moved around at work and stuff.
