These gadgets are so freaking cool! I bought some similar, Sound Shaker brand, transducers and attached them to all four of my home theater seats and wow! I secured them firmly to the closest solid wood surface I could get near the seat cushions of each chair. I'm only running them at 60% power with the LPF set to under 50Hz.. Essentially letting my subs put out the sound and pressure and the seat transducers give us the "thump" from explosions, engine noise, lightning strikes etc. I have to say, these are excellent supplemental immersion alongside your subwoofers (I have 2x SVS PB2000s) or they would also certainly work great if you wanted serious bass but didn't wanna wake up people in your house or next door. Seriously, with mine humming along I can stand right next to my seats and I do not feel vibration at all. I've seen a lot of guys attach these to their gaming chairs as well.

I can't believe I had never tried these before in my home theater! The first night I had them installed, I actually DROVE a pod racer lol. Video games are also amazing, particularly flying around in space in Starfield with these and the surround sound going!
Can I also shake trout with this, or is it strictly for bass?
I had these in the past. They really do work well. I ran four with a Dayton 230W subwoofer plate amp with no issues. If you are not running through a MiniDSP or similar you will want to have an amplifier with an adjustable crossover built in. Otherwise if they go off above say 45 hz or so (your cutoff is up to preference) they get very distracting, as even some voices will shake your seat. My favored practice was to just split them off any subwoofer with a y splitter, up the gain, and adjust the crossover on the amp as opposed to using a sub channel from my receiver or minidsp.

I eventually replaced the four of them with three buttkicker Advances. In all honesty I would not trade them out if I could do it again. Both had plenty of power, but the buttkickers are far more expensive, less efficient, and the noise when a buttkicker bottoms out is just awful. I have them dialed in well now but these shakers just worked with no fuss.

I've been reading a lot about these in the SVS home theater Facebook group. Seems a lot of people are using these and loving them. I have 2 PB-2000s as well running up front, with a PC-13 Ultra behind the couch. It's pretty insane as is but at this price I may pick up a couple to try out.

Oh they're so cool! I've got a PB-2000 in right corner back and left corner front and they rock the house... But the transducers are next level just delivering the extra deep bass right into the seat. I put my amp on a HomeKit switch so I can operate it remotely and was only using them with action and sci-fi movies at first. However, with where I set my LPF on the amp, I've gown to like them for every other category as well. Like for example, watched Poltergeist on 4K the other day and pretty much forgot the shakers were powered up until that scene lol, jumped me a bit but was punctuated by it coming in more sparingly. Of course also a ton of fun watching Star Wars and Michael Bay movies with as well of course haha. I bought the SoundShaker brand ones, but essentially same idea. Apparently Sound Shaker is made by 4Seating as I later realized these were the transducer I could have ordered pre-installed in my SeatCraft chairs years ago when I ordered them. But they were easy enough to install. Just try and get them as close to the seat and away from the floor as you can. My first install on the lower chair support was putting vibrations into the floor, when I moved the transducer up behind the seat it is much more isolated. It's not a cheap hobby we have lol.

The transducer in this posting are probably a better DIY way to go if you wanna run your own wiring and choose your own amps for them. The SoundShakers are easier to setup right out of the box and can wireless connect to one of your AVR's subwoofer outputs, but I didn't really use the transmitted as I T-ed off the sub cable to my rear PB-2000 and left the amp behind my back row (hence the remote HomeKit power switch).

I recommend installing two of these on your toilet and having a remote where you can control the amplitude of the brown note..

I don't have these particular transducers, I do have a pair of Earthquake MQB-1's mounted to my reclining love seat and they really do add a LOT of immersion to movies and games.

I live in a townhouse and basically have my subwoofers (Monolith M15 and a Monolith M215) dialed back to about 15-20% of their capabilities so I don't have to see my neighbor any more then I want to. Having the subs running so low the couches don't feel much impact and it isn't overly audible, though the loveseat really feels the impact. They go down to 10hz and it makes the audio Feel and literally sound louder in the chair, likely due to the subwoofer motors shaking the couch at the same frequency as the subwoofers. Needless to say, if you want a subwoofer upgrade, and don't have big subwoofer space and a big subwoofer budget, these will GREATLY enhance your experience in room and not make your wife mad doing so.

These are excellent for the hearing impaired! Also great to duct tape to your trunk and rattle your license plate. 🤣

I use one of these amps for 4 of the bass shakers and its great. 4 is kind of a sweet spot though as you can wire them to stay at the intended impedance of 4 ohms. That not to say 6 isn't doable, just different. You'd have to make sure to wire them the correct way to keep it between 4 and 8 ohms.

I'd imagine any old used Goodwill two channel would be fine.

Yes! Just put it on the outside of bucket or cooler full of water and it will shake any fish inside. Would not recomend for glass aquariums though.
