G series does not have a stand - it must be wall mounted. B and C come with stands but may be wall mounted.
I'll put it like this:

B-Series - Person who wants "the best" but isn't going to fill up their HDMI slots as only two ports are 2.1, which only matters to console gamers at the time WITH the best consoles (Xbox Series X/PS5)

C- Series - Person who is afraid that one day even the new Nintendo console will use 2.1, and wishes to prepare themselves a bit deeper into the future.

G-Series - Person who wants "the best of the best" panel + ATSC 3.0 tuner, which can one day provide 4K content via antenna (which is so damn far away)...but my market is doing 1080p which is life changing for sports.

I would buy this 9/10 times if I were a regular person. I got an eye popping deal on a G2 in May at this size and I'm good for 5+ years, but I've been on the hunt for replacing my bedroom TV so around April to July I'm going to be stalking the price of the B3 in hopes it hits about 1k-1.2k so I can grab it

Note: all of this to type YES, this is the deal at this size as nobody is going to put out the C series this cheap for BF as they know folks are still buying it with marginal discounts
This is why we can't have nice things.

Love this Tv no regrets. I got the 65 inch. The only issue I'm having is with LG simplilink it will not recognize my Xbox Series X when turning on I have to constantly pull the HDMI cable and plug it back in, I'm hoping this is a cable issue, I have yet to try a new cable. Does anybody else have a remedy?

Considering upgrading my 55 C2. Need a bigger TV. I can't justify G series as it's too costly. Will this B3 feel like a downgrade from a C2 in terms of picture quality?
I second this question! My local Microcenter has 77" C2 refurbished for thr same price and curious how they compare.

will this look just as good as the C3? Is there any difference in picture quality?

Yes just throw it in the back of the pickup and haul it back. Wheel it right over to the returns counter. Don't bother boxing it up or protecting it. They will take care of you 🤣
Didn't think a 77" would fit in the trailer park.

I'm still rocking my 2017 65" B2. Would this be a worthy upgrade?
The B2 is not from 2017. It was the B7 as I have one.

The LG 77B3 TV is a 2023 model, and it uses the Evo panel Gen 2 panel. Evo panel Gen 2 is the latest evolution of LG's OLED panel technology, and it offers a number of advantages over the previous generation, including:

Increased brightness: Evo panel Gen 2 is up to 30% brighter than the previous generation, which means that it can deliver even more stunning HDR images.
Improved color accuracy: Evo panel Gen 2 also offers improved color accuracy, which means that colors will appear more realistic and lifelike.
Reduced risk of burn-in: Evo panel Gen 2 is also less susceptible to burn-in, which is a potential problem with OLED TVs.
The spec sheet does not mention that is an EVO panel. The model name also does not include evo in the name as well.

If you're a gamer and for example have a ps5 and xbox series x, you would benefit from having 4k120 on 2.1 if the game supports it.

I bought this TV and ran into this problem since my soundbar also uses eArc, so I had to decide which system I prefer to use 4k120 on. It's not a HUGE deal for the regular consumer, but still something to take into account.

I have the Sony version of the OLED, A80J, 77" and there is a horrible lag in any mode except Game, but in Game mode everything seems muted and weird soft. Could that be due to some of the setting, like in vivid or normal, there is a lag between input and action, but in game mode there isn't, but it feel like there is another layer on top of the screen, just not clear. I have a crappy $300 Samsung 55" upstairs and it looks so much better, and there is almost no lag there (though I have to recheck, it does NOT feel like there is lag at all)

What's up with this.

I got this TV Two months ago for $2000. It has been a fantastic TV. I have a receiver with multiple HDMI 2.1 ports so having only two HDMI 2.1 ports on this TV is a non issue for me.

I bought it from costco 2 months back. Would costco be able to adjust the price?

Edit: looks like it's only within 30 days

Yeah I don't believe B series use EVO panels. Nowhere on the LG website does it mention that they do.

Only thing that worries me is the burn in. I've 65" A80J. It has been great. But when using Apple TV I notice the icons image retained for a couple of seconds! Though I am looking to get a bigger TV for my loft, I am not sure if I should be going for another OLED unless there are no issues with burn-ins!

Their official price adjustment policy is 30 days, but the return window is 90 days. You could always talk to customer support and ask for the adjustment or just return yours and buy the new discounted one.

Costco website specs say this?

"Inputs - HDMI 1HDMI 2.1 ALLM/VRR
Inputs - HDMI 2HDMI 2.1 ALLM/VRR
Inputs - HDMI 3HDMI 2.1 eARC/ALLM/VRR
Inputs - HDMI 4HDMI 2.1 ALLM/VRR"
Those specs are wrong. Only HDMI 3 & 4 are 2.1 HDMI 1 & 2 are 2.0
