G series does not have a stand - it must be wall mounted. B and C come with stands but may be wall mounted.
I'll put it like this:

B-Series - Person who wants "the best" but isn't going to fill up their HDMI slots as only two ports are 2.1, which only matters to console gamers at the time WITH the best consoles (Xbox Series X/PS5)

C- Series - Person who is afraid that one day even the new Nintendo console will use 2.1, and wishes to prepare themselves a bit deeper into the future.

G-Series - Person who wants "the best of the best" panel + ATSC 3.0 tuner, which can one day provide 4K content via antenna (which is so damn far away)...but my market is doing 1080p which is life changing for sports.

I would buy this 9/10 times if I were a regular person. I got an eye popping deal on a G2 in May at this size and I'm good for 5+ years, but I've been on the hunt for replacing my bedroom TV so around April to July I'm going to be stalking the price of the B3 in hopes it hits about 1k-1.2k so I can grab it

Note: all of this to type YES, this is the deal at this size as nobody is going to put out the C series this cheap for BF as they know folks are still buying it with marginal discounts
This is why we can't have nice things.

Still might wait for BF deals. Anyone know if this is a solid upgrade over the C9 panel (bought in '19)? Figured I would use the C9 for my gaming room (PS5) and use the B3 for main living room for TV/Movies.

Do you know about the stands on different models? If the plan is to put it on a stand vs mounting it on the wall is one better than the other? Thanks!
You can buy a stand. They're a little pricey.

Finally bit the bullet and bought it. I run through a receiver so I only need a single HDMI hookup and the price is just too good. I bought the TCL 55" 120Hz TV at the same time to bring the cost of it down to 379...I might end up returning that TV...but excited to finally have a 77"

I have the Sony version of the OLED, A80J, 77" and there is a horrible lag in any mode except Game, but in Game mode everything seems muted and weird soft. Could that be due to some of the setting, like in vivid or normal, there is a lag between input and action, but in game mode there isn't, but it feel like there is another layer on top of the screen, just not clear. I have a crappy $300 Samsung 55" upstairs and it looks so much better, and there is almost no lag there (though I have to recheck, it does NOT feel like there is lag at all)

What's up with this.
Turn off Dolby vision on your Xbox.

The LG 77B3 TV is a 2023 model, and it uses the Evo panel Gen 2 panel. Evo panel Gen 2 is the latest evolution of LG's OLED panel technology, and it offers a number of advantages over the previous generation, including:

Increased brightness: Evo panel Gen 2 is up to 30% brighter than the previous generation, which means that it can deliver even more stunning HDR images.
Improved color accuracy: Evo panel Gen 2 also offers improved color accuracy, which means that colors will appear more realistic and lifelike.
Reduced risk of burn-in: Evo panel Gen 2 is also less susceptible to burn-in, which is a potential problem with OLED TVs.
This is false. The B series does not use evo panels. Only C and G are marketed to have evo

Just FYI, if you're thinking of buying it at your local Costco, mine didn't have the insurance included in the price. You had to buy it separately, although there was a discount for bundling.

Can I return the 77" b2 I bought from Costco last winter or exchange and upgrade to this one? I would love an evo panel
You are asking if you can return a TV 12 month later. Were you implying buy the and return your old TV? Or were you saying will the retailer accept a year old return? Either way the answer to both is no, and I'm sure you already know this.

If you're a gamer and for example have a ps5 and xbox series x, you would benefit from having 4k120 on 2.1 if the game supports it.

I bought this TV and ran into this problem since my soundbar also uses eArc, so I had to decide which system I prefer to use 4k120 on. It's not a HUGE deal for the regular consumer, but still something to take into account.
You problem was buying a sound bar over an receiver.for I brought a denon receiver for $350 and I run everything through the arc plus the denon has 4 2.1 ports

LG partner store is $1619.99 but only with a standard manufacturer warranty. Additional 2 years is $179. Which deal is better?

Correct that's through the Samsung website. Also YMMV but many have had success speaking with their chat and asking for 2 years of Samsung care and an additional 10% discount.
While Costco offers additional coverage, you should know that it doesn't cover burn in. Best Buy is the only retailer I know that covers that through geek squad.
Thanks! I just found out my work is also a part of the EPP program so now I guess I can finally take part in those. $2000 for S90C seems good, but I don't know, I feel like I can hold off until Super Bowl...
