    More specifically the concern is the wires are so thin they break easily, especially in the wind. Some reviews have reported they don't even last one year.

    I have around 10 strands of these and they have lasted for 3 Seasons so far. I have had one of the plugs go bad, but you can daisy chain them so it wasn't a big deal for me.

    I bought a similar set last year (mine have 10 tubes). I can confirm the wire is very thin and they're cheaply made. That being said, they do work and look nice, but I don't expect them to last more than 2-3 seasons.

    I've purchased these from another "brand." They work great outdoors, and even survived rain. The cords are pretty short, so you'll have to use an extension cord. Only problem was squirrels chewing up the cords.

    I've had these for almost 3 years now and its still going. it's not on all the time though. I built one of those cloud things with pillow stuffings for my daughter in her room. I also used a thick enough cardboard sheet for the hot glue and rgb strips instead applying everything to the actual ceiling. so I purchased these to mimic the rain. works fine for us.

    Brought from another seller but it applies to all since they have the same design. The cord broke at the plug in one season with two of these. Eventually had to trash them since they are low voltage and you can't rewire to a regular plug. They need to change the design and make the cords thicker.
