If your membership is expiring soon. You can cancel it and it will give you the option to rejoin at $49 plus tax. Worked for me. YMMV

Since we normally switch having new memberships between those two account will sign up under wife account and let mine expire.
I use it for Scan and Go saves time in store especially at checkout, free delivery from store, free shipping no order minimum, save $0.10/gallon on gas, also I have elderly parents in assisted living and can send them whatever they need from their local Walmart for free not just the members address.

On a side note, did anybody receive an email from Walmart (a few weeks before their Walmart+ renewal) stating that once you renewed @ the $98 rate, Walmart was going to send you a $50 gift card from a retailer that you could choose from after you renewed?
A pretty decent offer that I was probably going to accept, but now I'll just go with the $49 rate promo currently offered on my other Walmart account.
