Yep. Bought this because I got tired of dealing with gas, transferring clothes, etc.

I was very surprised at how well it worked. But of course, temper your expectations.

You can't FULLY load it. And expect things to dry completely.

I do smaller loads, which is still quite a lot compared to my old GIANT Maytag top loading.

It's quiet, efficient and it's dry when it's all done. The app notifies when it's 5 minutes away from being done. And when it's actually done.

The clothes come out damp feeling but when you expose it to air, it just dries up completely. Weird. But true.

And the clothes are nice and soft. I think the best part is the 32oz of liquid detergent. I set it to auto. And I can do a decent amount of loads.

12-15. Depending on the clothes.

One thing…I did buy a dedicated small battery Ryobi vacuum It makes it easier to vacuum the lint after 1-2 laundry.

Remember. The cleaner the lint basket is. The dryer the clothes come out. So I've made it a habit to just do it every 1-2 loads.

Regular clothes don't produce much lint. It's the blankets, towels and bathroom floor rugs that do.

Just things to consider and think about. I've had it for about 6 months. I'm happy.

I considered putting a second one side by side to do more laundry. Since they do sell a Y site connector for the water intake. But…I'm happy with the one.

I ended up just putting full wall cabinets where the old dry er used to be.
This uses a heat pump to generate heat and remove moisture. So the drying effect is similar to the evaporator in your home AC system, in that it pulls moisture from the air and just sends it to the drain without needing to vent externally. Pretty neat setup, and the reviews I've seen online seem positive about the tech. It also uses MUCH less electricity than a standard dryer. Like 1/4 per load vs. traditional dryer with heating element.
If you are a first responder or government employee, GE offers a 20% discount through their website using ID.me. Their listed price is $2,199, but after the discount shows as $1,759.20 with free shipping (not including your local tax).

Felt the same way, especially with black Friday around the corner, but pulled the trigger. I'm sure it will drop further at some point but not sure inventory be strong.

So just to confirm since I can't view prices without renewing my membership: It's $1999 after the $300 off and not $1699 like the deal back in June?

I've been checking weekly since the last deal for 1,699 back in June. So tempted to pull the trigger.

It is Costco won't the price match it if the price drops? May have to reorder in order for them to price match?

I've been looking at these recently. So tempting, in order to save space. But one thing I just noticed is that these things are 302 lbs. 😶

Says no vent is needed... why would this not need a dryer exhaust vent vs stand along units?

Thanks in advance.

No vent is needed because it uses a heat pump to dry. It recirculates room air to dry. It is way more energy efficient versus an electric dryer.

The way the heat pump system is designed for it, not sure how the technology works it doesn't need one. So it can be placed anywhere you have a drain and water access. The main reason is one of the many appeals for getting it based on the tech in it.

Can guarantee your clothes will not be dry by the time it's done. We have an older version of this and it's awful at drying - everything is still super damp. The space you save is not enough for the more times you have to run this (wasting time and electricity)
Talking about completely different units and tech.. Read the reviews
