Now between the reliant line of tires and assurance tires, the assurance would more than likely be the "stronger" tire as they have more wear life, and a thicker sidewall.

PS another gent said Reliant doesn't do good in the rain. That's not true, Reliant is fantastic in the rain, it comes with extra fatty groove measured at 10-11-11-10mm which is twice the size of every other similar tires. Enabling it to evacuate water twice the speed. Now that doesn't mean you should drive recklessly, when it rains, remember to slow down. One thing I don't like about Reliant is comfort, it's very noisy on older pavement. Reliant might be overkilled if you only drive 20miles per day. You can save even more money with 9/32 tires like USA made Douglas.
