From what I can gather, this is not the 2023 version with the updated microphone and EQ game presets
Got this today and it is in fact the 2020 version. The Razer software is god awful as usual. Cannot get it to connect wirelessly no matter what I try. Even in wired mode it unpairs by itself. Now it won't repair. Should have gone with my gut to avoid Razer like the plague. Returning tomorrow.
Confirmed. Here is link to Razer's website for proof: https://www.razer.com/gaming-head...20200-R3M1. Can see that Six Siege version is 2020.

This is the 2020 edition, don't get it mistaken with the new and better version of 2023, that should be listed in the listing.

I bought this headset about a year and a half ago and even though it is the 2020 version without the latest bells and whistles, in my opinion, it's been the best headset that I've owned. Yes, the Razor software is garbage but I don't use it. The microphone works very well and the sound quality is just as good. I use my headset almost every day and I haven't had any issues with it. After reading the comments, I'm surprised to see so many people have negative experiences with it.

I bought this on clearance for 40 bucks 7 months ago.... micro USB instead of usb-c

Honestly feels and works good on pc, ps5 seems to drop sound every so often for a split second. Just don't bother with their software... not needed

IMagine paying this much for a Razer product, lmao.

Especially considering Razer doesn't honor their warranty anymore.

I've had this headset for a couple years and it's been great. Mic and sound quality aren't going to win any awards but it's been reliable and gets the job done. One thing to note is that Razer recently deployed an update to Synapse that absolutely screwed over the sound quality of all their headsets. Something about them messing up the THX spatial audio. They just released a statement saying they're planning to release a fix for it on 11/16

I bought the 2020 version in 2021 and it worked great for 2 years and 3 months then stopped powering on. Razer support said it was out of warranty and they don't repair peripherals. Don't buy Razer peripherals you expect to last beyond the warranty period.

Oh... Wait I meant to say I had the earlier version specifically because of the supercardiod <sp> mic and used it exclusively for work calls in a shared office environment. The mic was fantastic, no one could hear my office mate, and I received compliments on the sound quality when I switched to it. Overall I liked the headset but would not purchase again because Razer peripherals are just unrepairable e-waste when they brake.

Oh I agree. Almost every product I've had from them has become useless after 3 years. I treat my stuff fine and stuff from Logitech or Steelseries has lasted me longer. My brother has used the same Arctis 7 for years and it's still working just fine.

As far as headsets go, I've owned one pair of razer and it was probably the kraken? I myself didn't like the sound but the friend I gave it to loved them and has been using that set for a year or two. I think the sound is garbage but quality is a hit or miss I guess?
I own deathadder, viper ultimate and viper v2 pro. The ultimate after a year and a half broke on me but it was my fault for mistreating it and slaming it here and there ngl. The deathadder, and viper v2 pro(daily) has been going strong for over 2 years. My huntsman mini (red switches) started to give me problems with connecting and disconnecting randomly after 7 months of use.
Went back to my Das keyboard and probably gonna go for the wooting
