Previous frontpage deal. Costco has the Winix C909 on sale for $159.99 + $5 shipping.
This model is Wifi Connected and uses the very common and easy to find Filter A. It can also cover a 500 square foot room.

My concern with this $160 price is that $200 will sometimes get you TWO C535s or C545s based on past sales, and having TWO units would be pretty crazy air cleaning, if placed 20-40 feet apart. I'd think that would be significantly more effective, although it would be more in electricity.
Please need to keep in mind that these units catch particles floating in the air. You're still going to get dust particles in many places because they're too heavy to continually float in the air, and find themselves near the intake of an air cleaner. Air cleaners do not do your dusting, swiffering, or vacuuming for you, but they all tend to imply that they create a dust free home. Huh.
Many similarities, but very different air volume cleaned, through an upgraded fan blade and/or motor.

Quite frankly, I never use the wifi on mine. I'm not sure why it's really needed. Just gimme a light every 45 days to clean prefilter and I'm good to go
My kids use them for white noise sometimes and sometimes forget to turn them off. It's nice to set them back to auto mode without even being at home. It's also nice to see more info about the device and filter use in the app.
I bought mine in-store for this price the last time. May have to just check it yours has them in stock

Only difference seems to be it's wireless works, auto sleep at night, and the fan is quieter(maybe). Basically a c545 that is built right.
But I'll stick with the c535's for now. I don't need to add more Rf cooking my cells just to clean the air.
It's the 228sf that should be used when comparing to the Winix, not the 1,140sf. The square feet number is supposed to be based on about 5 room changes per hour.

This is what I did. Having multiple purifiers help lessen the frequency I have to dust from once a week to 3 months. I have 6 though, covering 2000 sqft. It also help when cooking. Even with windows open, pm2.5 spikes to 300, but it comes down in 10 minutes with them on full blast. They are very noisy on full blast.
