Hyundai is giving people interested in a 2023 ioniq 5 either a $7500 cash bonus or a $7500 finance bonus. Might be due to the fact that Tesla qualifies and they did not and not many people are buying. This is not a lease but outright purchase.

Surely all the dealers in my area did not raise the 'msrp' in anticipation.

Dealers can't change msrp.
They can't change MSRP but they can add to the price and charge you above MSRP. It is absolutely hostile and short-sighted but I had it happen on a car I bought in 2021.

This is why no one buy through stealership anymore. Tesla business model will make the other obsolete eventually. Last time I visited Toyota trying to get a Prius. Was held for 2 hrs and wasted my time. Never again. Ended up getting a model y hassle free

It's called a market adjustment, and yeah, they are a cluster of dbags.

The dealership model needs to die.

If you buy an ID4 you'll get ~ 4K off list plus the $7,500 from the government.

beware people on reddit r/insurance are still complaining that they are getting extremely high rates for kia/hyundai even if they are not related at all to the thefts (simply because of the brand), so if you do decide to buy, give your insurance company/agency a call and have them run you the numbers with the VIN before you buy. Some companies are not even issuing new policies for hyundai/kia cars.

This line gets so old. Tesla service is trash and costs a fortune. The sales people are just as annoying. It doesn't matter what you label it - it's a place to get ripped off

And I have a 2015 and 2017 S. Ask me how I know a replacement battery is $15k -- refurbished.

Don't pay over MSRP for sure. Ridiculous when their lots are full of these.

Not in my area. I have two that does msrp and no mark up or add ons. Their doc fees are 699.

Wow.. can't believe that these days paying msrp is a deal. They would not haggle on price even if it was a 2023 and they have 2024 on the lot.
