Upgrade to a Eufy. So much better. Your videos are stored locally rather than Amazon's cloud. Who knows what they are doing with people's videos
No subscription required. If you want the videos stored inside your home you can get their "homebase 3" device and it will beam all your videos to that device. So if you had multiple Eufy cameras all the videos can be stored on the homebase 3, You just add a sata storage device (sata SSD drive or a sata laptop hard drive). So theoretically your storage can be massive. Their Dual video doorbells are awesome. Lets you see so much more.
Were Eufy devices sending data to China and Anker denied it in the first place and then admitted that they did it intentionally? I like Anker products as chargers/cables/power banks but I don't trust their "security" devices. I'm Chinese and I know what "security" means in China.

This is the 2nd one. I have the 3rd, and it sucks. Wifi mesh is right next to the bell but fails to connect 50% off the time

My regular cheapo 19 $ ring works well. No issue for over 3 years!

Eufy is great since no subscription. Ring is better with notifications and lesser false alerts. I run both. My eufy detects car lights, trash can and sometimes the trees as people. That's already turned down sensitivity and still have that problem. Most of the time I don't even bother checking my eufy alerts only my ring.

I'm not seeing any indication that the Homebase 2 has expanded storage capability. Looks like the Homebase 3 does though.

IMO..Alerts and notifications which makes ring unique. Eufu and blink gives you options to run without subscribing but it's like what you get for what you pay!!

I do the same with Blink.
