The terms say you need to buy the 3 months directly from mint mobile. Doesn't say you can buy from Target or Best Buy. I hope you can but terms say buy from Mint

I checked with a Mint mobile agent and they said there is an issue with their system and the offer is not working right now on their site. She said there is no promo code. The 3 free months should be automatically added to your cart. She suggested trying again in a few hours.

If I buy the plan with a physical SIM, but decide to activate instead on an eSIM-only phone, will support be able to "convert" my plan to an eSIM one and still keep the 3 mos free?

Yeah, I specifically asked her what day the 3-months-free deal ended & she said 1-31-24 & said not to worry about the website countdown clock because it was just for the "phone deals". Hopefully it's the truth(I've been lied to big time by Boost Mobile chat/phone reps lately)...Lol

No, once the port completes the plan with your previous provider is terminated even if you don't insert/use your Mint SIM. Porting out is an easy way to cancel your account without having to talk to CS reps.

Recovery fee is covered in section 10.1 of Terms and Conditions. FYI.
* It used to be only applied upon renewal but last year(?) new customers got the added "feature", too.
