That's a load of crap. There is no UST that competes with an LED, especially one this bright, for DAY time watching.

Not LG, Formovie, Hisense, Samsung, or BENQ. They all lool "ok" at best in a room with ambient light, even if you have an expensive CLR screen. Stop with this nonsense.

I saw my first 98" in person at Best Buy, it was legit the first time i said wow thats massive, on a big open floor space. Most screens looks small on the walls in stores and big onces you put them in your home. But naw, these 98-100" suckers are actually massive as hell and a mini theater in home.

However, any manufacturer can have panel consistency issues, even Sony (based on my personal experience). That's why the term "panel lottery" is used so often, and one of the reasons I hesitate on buying a huge TV, because exchanging/returning something that size can be a royal pain.

This tv comes with a 2 year warranty as standard, personally I would have paid with my Amex or another credit card, and they add a year to the manufacturers. So 3 years and nothing out of pocket.

Are you familiar with the 5 year warranty from Costco for $99? It used to be from Square Trade which I believe was purchased by Allstate a couple years ago. In essence it will add an additional 3 years to your 2 year Hisense warranty. I have got this warranty for all my $1.5K+ TVs since 2012. I used it only once for a low end Samsung 75" TV which developed a vertical line after the factory warranty expired.
Yet it is gives huge peace of mind.

Thanks for that Costco information but it clearly states the coverage starts year 3 to 5 on your tv that was purchased from Costco. And you need to add the protection within 90 days of purchasing your tv from Costco.
