Bought a couple of these last time they were on sale. Well built but the main zipper on the larger one is a bit stiff at first around the corners. Loosens over time/use if you are gentle with it. Only cons are that they are both smaller than the competition and a bit under what is allowed for international travel. One of the suitcases doesn't roll straight but works fine if you rotate it 180, so not a big deal. Inside mesh cover unzips on the bottom - frustrating. Would rate them 8/10 mainly because of the size issue and will be buying another set at this price.

What do you mean under what is allowed for international travel? Like the dimension is too small and airline wouldn't check them when flying internationally?

I guess he meant that they could have made them a bit roomier by making them larger, and that would still have complied with maximum allowed dimensions.

Any other recommendations ? I hate the hardside ones
