Acoustic Sound Design (through their Amazon storefront) has a sweet deal on both Ebony and Piano Black Klipsch Reference Premiere tower speakers. Prices are way below their previous front page deals and far less than anywhere else.
More deals are sure to follow, but these are too good to pass up. The piano black 8060FA are $50 each less than the ebony version was during the Prime Day sales.

If you're looking to replace the 280's not worth it.
If you're deciding between the two, yes I would take the 8000's would be my suggestion.
One of the 6 is dead, for now; who buys single speakers anyway? The 649 deal is now linking correctly again (and $50 cheaper than a current FP deal).
