Master the way of the samurai in Nioh, then unleash your inner darkness in Nioh 2 – each expertly remastered and enhanced for PS5.
Discover the complete Nioh saga with all six major expansions included. Battle the Yokai threat at a targeted 120fps* with ultra-fast load times. (*gameplay at 120fps requires a compatible monitor that can support this feature)
Regarding the comment above - not true. 'Ki Pulse' mechanic becomes muscle memory pretty quickly, while magic & ninjutsu are completely optional (but helpful).
Not saying this is an easy game, of course, but it's a far cry from 'dedicating a full time job'. $20 is a steal for this, one of the best action RPGs released in last 10 years.

Amazing games, up there with FromSoft's roster for me.
Yeah, their latest, Wo Long doesn't have as much depth or fun with combat. Combat is so fun in Nioh games. However, mechanics are very complex, and high difficulty curve for newbs. It takes a bit of patience and time to get into the groove of things, and once you do, it's really fun.
Fromsoft games are simpler for combat compared to Nioh games.
Just a heads up for the folks who have been told they need to "get gud" when dismayed by the difficulty of other soulsbourne games, Neoh is absolutely brutal. Personally I'd rather put my hand in a blender.
Right, getting one shotted is very common. lol. I find it much more difficult when I was a newb, but some people find it easier. I guess some people pick up on Nioh really fast.
It's important to do the tutorials, and learn to get used to ki pulse, and ki pulse while switching stance. Once you figure out ki pulse while switching stances, it gets much easier. Ki management is very important.

The depth of combat is amazing. I did my first run with Kusarigama, second with scythe - felt like I was playing a brand new game. Now I need to do a run with both because weapon switching mid combo has its own perks. That's what I love about it, you can spend hundreds of hours playing and you're still learning new things and getting better.
I want to purchase this game, but I play my games on easy difficulty. I'm more of a story-based gamer. I like Sifu, but I assume this is a more complex game like Demon Souls.

This game is about action gameplay, and story isn't much of a focus. Although, I do not think Demon's Souls is complex, this game is pretty great in complexity in comparison.
I felt this game was more forgiving because it loaded much faster. I played Nioh 1 right after getting platinum on the Bloodbourn so I was seasoned from the previous torturing. But on the other hand I felt I had enough from FromSoftware so I did not finish the game.
Amazing games…could not recommend more if you like Soulslikes that are quite challenging. If you buy it, persevere through the first boss which is SUPER tough and you will be good.

I would say more of an action game with rpg elements in terms of leveling and upgrading weapons. Just like souls games.
