The key problem I had to work around was getting the transfer PIN. Google uses your phone number for the account, and your voicemail PIN as the activation PIN. The problem is that most people don't have a voicemail PIN because they just install the GV app. It took me a while, but I finally found the option to check GV VM from any phone. It is turned OFF by default. When you enable that option, you will be prompted to set up a PIN.
A GV number is free and included when you set up a new Google/gmail account. You do have to "Unlock" the number, and there is a $3 fee for that if you want to port the number out.
I had a throwaway gmail account from earlier this year. I got the GV number for that account on Saturday night and ported it out the next day to get the S23FE deal.
Thanks!
Thanks!
$65 plan required for Iphone 12 deal
$10 Sim Card
$50 charger (depends on third party store might only try charge you for charger/case or both)
$50 case
$20 activation fee is waived right now for Black Friday.
"pay the applicable sales tax on the pre-credit price at time of purchase. Instant rebate of $530 will be applied to the full retail price of $629.99" so that means you pay sales tax on full MSRP so if its 10% that's $63
Looking at $250-$300 depends on how bad they try rip you off with "required" accessories.

So in total, $419 for two phones and a month of service on each, with ongoing costs being the same as I had with visible (assuming they let me switch to the $25 plan, which I read elsewhere they will). So $394 more than I would have paid to continue with my current plan for two new iphone 12s. If you have better tax rates than where I live it'd be significantly cheaper. My plan is to try to get customer service to let me to unlock one phone early and sell it; if not I'll hang onto it for six months and then sell. I'm guessing that I should be able to get $250 minimum for the 12 in new condition, likely more. Pretty decent I think? At the very least I think this was less complicated than those earlier in the thread implied. Hope this helps!
