"Usually"? Never seen that beyond when they discontinue items.
Um, I was responding to a comment SPECIFICALLY critiquing the aesthetic. That's why I mentioned the looks.

This company is very, very highly regarded among "backpackers". Go to the OneBagger subreddit and look up reviews and posts — AER is considered one of the very best designers of backpacks / travel bags around. You can also check YouTube where you'll see they have a cult following and are quite consistently ranked as some of the best bags you can buy. The Travel Pack was voted #1 by a large publication too (I forget, I think it was Men's Health or GQ or something).

The materials they use are top notch and will last you many, many years. I watched a YouTube review where the guy said he dragged his back across the pavement in a city to test the durability and it didn't have a single scratch. It's made with materials used in bulletproof vests I believe. Extremely high quality and well designed, and again, just look up any YouTube breakdowns to see the level of love AER gets.

Edit: Code is working again.

Nice to see the "practical lifetime of the product" warranty but price outside my budget.

How do you find the day sling max? I love my day sling 3, but it can get heavy if I stuff it full. With even more space to stuff things, is the max still comfortable?
I think it's pretty comfortable. I stuffed a galaxy fold 4, 8 bit-do, cell stand, passport, iPhone, viture one glasses and neck band, and 10k mah battery and I don't really feel it too much. I also attached a carabiner to it so I can let a water bottle hang on it. The aer logo it's attached on hasn't broken. Overall comfy for me

I got gifted the sling 3 max last year and I feel it's solidly built. Been using it every week and put in my phone, charging bank, wallet sunglasses, a few pens, charging cable, and 20oz hydro flask in there. Fits a little tight with the big water bottle but without it would have more space for stuff. Price is a bit premium if I would have bought it on my own but it's been holding up so far.

The only end-run around their stingy pricing, adding better return privileges, is to buy via (this is weird) MoMA Store and stack discounts there (membership plus discount days).

Anybody have any thoughts on getting the Aer Day Sling vs the Alpaka Go Sling Mini? I'm having a hard time deciding between the two. My daily is a Lululemon EBB and I wanted to get a larger bag for those times I need to carry more a little more.

Same. Had one backpack, tried the coupon code, then changed my mind to another bag, and coupon code not working now.
Try again. Their website seemed to have a problem this morning that has since been corrected.

Specifically the backpacks
I've only used the Travel Pack 3 but I can say it's an awesome solution for traveling with just one bag. Has plenty of space for a few packing cubes of clothes in the main compartment. Also has a ton of smaller pockets in the front for your other essentials.

I have the city pack xpac. It's a decent material for waterproofing as I commute nowadays. Love the orange interior as it is easier to find stuff. If I was to do it again, I would do the city pack pro for the extra room.

Started to carry my headphone, laptop, water bottle, and breakfast/lunch, could barely fit in the city pack. Definitely when I try to put a pair of shoes in it due to weather, it barely fit. C

My concern is that the xpac might be noisy haha and not sure how I feel about the orange interior.

I've been going back and forward between the city pack and city pack pro.

It's has a bit "crinkly" noise. Go Pro if you think you'll put a sweater or jacket in the bag down the road.

Their stuff is totally worth it. I have OG duffel pack, travel bag, day sling , day sling max, go pack, and all of them still look new despite the abuse and usage .
I have the fit pack 3… what would you recommend next? I was eyeing the Weekender duffel or backpack but I'm so torn because they have so much to choose from.

I think they look cool.

I have the fit pack 3 backpack and have gotten multiple comments from it (all from women, too, which I found interesting as I thought they had a more traditionally masculine aesthetic but I guess I was wrong).
